About the Artwork
Admirers of Native American music might be familiar with Crumbo through his contributions to the revival of interest in Native American Plains flute music. Crumbo collaborated with the musician Thurlow Lieurance (after whom the Lieurance Woodwind Quintet is named) in public performances of the music, as well as in the making and collecting Native American flutes.
