Educational Offerings at WAM
The Wichita Art Museum brings people, ideas, and American Art together to enrich lives and build community. WAM’s educational programming offers varied levels of engagement and participation with the core belief that art is for everyone, that curiosity inspires learning, and that learning is a lifelong adventure.

Bringing a group of students to WAM? There’s no admission charge for student groups visiting the museum, either on a self-guided or docent-led tour. 100% bus reimbursement also is available.

WAM is for Families
Bring the entire family to free Family ArtVenture, held on the fourth Saturday of the month. Take an art exploration, make art together led by an instructor, watch a family movie, or meet an artist or two or three. Engage with your preschool child at WAM’s weekly with interactive art and gallery explorations.

WAM is for Kids
Do you want to play Art Charades? Or try a Freaky Figure Game? Or go on a Scavenger Hunt in WAM’s Art Garden? Find art-related activities for kids of all ages to do at home or at the museum.

WAM is for Adults
Swing by the museum for an evening of exciting discussion and camaraderie. WAM organizes programs specificallly targeted at adults, including Wichita Art Chatter, curator talks, and special one-time gatherings dedicated to art, live performances, and creative community.
