Winter Art Mania -- November 2021

11 am to  3 pm | Free artmaking and fun, family-friendly films and live music by the Bill Harshbarger Quintet presented in partnership with Wichita Jazz Festival

What is WAM thankful for? Our museum visitors! Celebrate friendship and bring your besties for fun, collaborative artmaking, films, and more surprises. Stroll the galleries and shop for holiday gifts at the Museum Store.

Make beads from paper and create your own unique friendship bracelet. Take a photo with your bestie and make a custom picture frame. Work together to create a community mural.

Get in that holiday spirit with live music featuring the Bill Harshbarger Quintet. Bill Harshbarger is a recognized woodwind performer and musical director. His school bands have won many awards including having performed for three Presidents of the United States. He has conducted and performed with such greats as Bob Hope, Johnny Carson, Mel Torme, Red Skelton, Bobby McFerrin, Clark Terry, Bob Newhart, and The Tommy Dorsey Band. In 2005, Bill was named Arts Educator of the Year by the Wichita Arts Council.
