Shake off the blues and get jazzed up with music-themed artmaking at WAM.

Groove to some cool jazz provided by Sirius 3 in the S. Jim and Darla Farha Great Hall, and be inspired by artwork from African American Art in the 20th Century, a Smithsonian American Art Museum exhibition featuring blues and jazz themes.

Explore the galleries with a Kahoot! challenge.

Explore your artistic side with two creative artmaking projects:

The Sound I See — Make a colorful collage inspired by jazz and blues in the S. Jim and Darla Farha Great Hall.

Shake it Up by making your own fun and colorful musical instrument in the Living Room.

WAM’s Education Team has developed several creative solutions to safeguard your good health, and the best pandemic protocols will be in place for this family program.
