Destination: WAM

The WAM Contemporaries will be assisting Wichita public school students with expenses related to bus trips to the Museum with their program, “Destination: WAM”.

The Contemporaries’ latest project will shift focus to the next generation of museum-goers by sponsoring bus trips to the Wichita Art Museum throughout the school year. The program is only available to schools in the U.S.D. 259 district. The group has already dedicated over $10,000 to the project.

The Contemporaries hope to sponsor more than 30 classroom trips during the 2011-2012 school year, which could mean an additional 1,500 students visiting the Museum. To make your “Destination: WAM” reservation, call Andrea Keppers, Director of Education at 316-268-4907.
